What is the 12 Bar Blues?

A typical blues piece consists of these elements:

  1. 12 Bars (Measures)
  2. 3 Chords (1, 4 and 5)
  3. A groove that is either strait or swung (shuffle)
  4. Some UGLY faces made like you stepped in something nasty! *A.K.A the “Stank Face”.

Simple Blues Form
(1 = C, 4 = F, 5 = G *In the Key of C)

The “Quick 4” and added 5
