Amazing Grace - Kids
Learn how to play the melody of a classic hymn. Thank God for his amazing grace and love that flows from His beautiful heart.
Parent Notes
Skills: Playing a melody, using two hands, playing and singing, proper technique, 3/4 time
What to expect by age:
*It's ok if your kid plays behind or off beat at first.
4 to 6 - Difficulty at the start. Will seem like they are not getting it at first. May end up playing the song out of time (not in rhythm) and that's ok. 1-3 weeks.
6 to 8 - Frustration at start. Should get it after repetition. Should be able to play in time with last video. 0-2 weeks.
8 to 10 - A little frustration at the start. Should pick it up fairly fast after repetition. Playing with the last video in no time. 0-1 week.
Parent:
Don't worry too much as you see them struggle at the start. Kids love repetition. Trust the process and don't feel like you have to help them out every step of the way. They will start to get it on their own. It might be best to start the video and leave the room. Repeat each video until they are comfortable to move to the next tab/video.
