Are There Ads?

Nope! Your kids can learn without strange ads popping up.

What Ages?

We've found that the best ages are between 5-10.

Is this a Classical Music Site?

No. The site focuses on everything from ear training, to chord knowledge, to classical grammar, but it is not just a classical site.

What Will My Kids Learn?

To love creating music! Through the many lessons they will unknowingly develop foundational muscle memory. To see a list of all lessons and skills, click below:

Should I Help Them?

We've found that it's best to give them space to explore and develop on their own. They tend to figure things out. If you feel that they are struggling you can help or advise them to come back later.

What is the Structure?

They can bounce from world to world or can be encouraged to become a "Music Master" of a world by completing all of the lessons. This can become a great incentive by the parents.

How Many Kids Can Use the Site?

The whole family can use it. Each membership is a family membership. Currently there are not separate accounts for each kid so progress will need to be accounted for through the printed maps.

Why Does My Kid Repeat the Same Lesson 1000 Times?

Because that's how kids learn. It's one of their super powers. Let them!

Do the Kids Earn Digital Rewards?

Nope. The goal is for the site to be low-tech so that they can focus on creating and exploring.

What is the Cost?

Currently you get access to Kids Chops with a Piano Chops membership. In the future there may be options for just a Kids Chops membership.
