This course is the third step in the Worship Path series, designed to help you move from personal proficiency into confident, flexible playing within a band setting. Building on the muscle memory and musical instincts you’ve already developed, the focus here is on adaptability—learning how to respond musically in real time while supporting other musicians.

You’ll deepen your musicianship through melody harmonization, diatonic seventh chords, cadences, and practical note reading, while continuing to strengthen ear training, left-hand development, and the ability to sing while playing. Special attention is given to navigating common band challenges, including guitar capo situations, flexible bass-note choices, and roll techniques that allow you to adapt familiar progressions across multiple keys.

As you work through the course, you’ll gain hands-on experience applying these concepts in a variety of keys and musical contexts, giving you the tools to jam, adjust, and contribute confidently in live worship environments.

By the end of this course, you’ll feel more at home playing with others—listening, responding, and serving the song with musical maturity and freedom rather than relying on fixed patterns or rigid arrangements.
