G Diatonic Chords – BASIC
About This Lesson
In this lesson you will learn how to make chords from the G scale. Simply take every other note and move up the scale and you will create seven different chords. Those are called Diatonic Chords.
The chords in the Key of G are:
G Am Bm C D Em F#dim
It’s also important to start learning which chord goes with the number of the scale. Once you understand this you can start to play using a Nashville Number chart.
