You need to know two things for this video. The Major 3rd and the minor 3rd.
The Major 3rd (M3) = 4 half steps
The minor 3rd (m3) = 3 half steps
Your four basic types of triads are:
Major (M3+m3)
minor (m3+M3)
diminished (m3+m3)
augmented (M3+M3)
