Description

This course takes you from the fundamentals of country piano to playing full songs in the style of the greats. Start by learning the essential keys, grooves, pentatonic scales, and soloing tips, then add advanced techniques like octave tricks, left-hand patterns, walk-ups, slip notes, and hammer-ons to capture that authentic country sound. Finally, bring it all together by playing songs “in the style” of legendary artists from the 1930s to today, including Bob Wills, Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Floyd Cramer, Merle Haggard, Garth Brooks, and George Strait. Practice, patterns, and real songs will have you sounding like a true country pianist!
